Together Program Hosts Annual Holiday Breakfast
Four days a week TERROS Together’s Morning Program hosts a recovery discussion and breakfast at Grace Lutheran Church for homeless and near homeless men and women, many of whom are battling alcohol and substance abuse. The team served more than 7,000 plates of food this year and is grateful for generous contributions from local grocery stores.
December 13th was more than just a typical program day at Grace Lutheran Church. It was a time of celebration and reflection on the holiday season. On this day the entire Together Programs’ team of 12 employees was there to help celebrate. In addition, billing staff prepared and served breakfast, a holiday tradition they enjoy each year. Brin Scott, program director, invited clients and staff to share what the holidays mean to them and what they are most grateful for. This was a special holiday occasion for staff and clients to dine together and enjoy each others’ company.
